VISION BA2C adapts the philosophy to think in terms of solutions to clients problems, be alert to market needs, react professional and assist clients from concept to implementation to completion of the project/assignment. In this way BA2C. together with its partners, intends to bridge the gap between the diverse worlds of advising, organizational development/improvement consultancy, implementation and project management. Our goal is to offer client high level expertise while promoting knowledge and expertise transfer to client's employees.
ACTIVITIES Our focus is on European and Latin American commercial companies, civil/public and non-profit organizations. We want them to become more efficient and profitable and we assist them to improve their project management, execute projects, initiate and implement organizational development and change and advice on strategic issues. Next to that BA2C facilitates companies to start-up activities, projects and joint ventures in Latin America and Central & Eastern Europe.
HISTORY & EXPERTISE In 2003 Willem Frens left the organizational development practice of Capgemini Ernst & Young to become an independent project manager and organizational development specialist. He executed various assignments for multinational companies and Governmental organizations in the Netherlands. In 2006 Comape from Guatemala asked Willem to execute an EFQM Business Excellence Scan and investigate the areas where Comape could improve its operations. After Comape various other Latin American companies, non-profit organizations and NGO's asked Willem to execute organizational development assignments, initiate and execute projects and coach and train local staff to improve the organization. To execute these activities Willem started the legal entity Business Advice - America Central (BA2C). In 2008 Willem returned to the Netherlands to execute project management and organizational development assignments for TNT Express, Nuon and the police force Kennemerland. He remained active in Latin America. An example of his Latin American activities is his work for the Colombian Coffee Producers Federation which he assists to structure their projects and to organize multi-million euro finance with (international) commercial banks to develop new activities. Next to that Willem qualified being an expert advisory services with UNOPS to assist United Nations (UN) clients Worldwide to improve their project management capability and to introduce professional project management.
